New District 6 Created

The efforts of the state association to get to 32 districts in the state has now been realized.  Pennsylvania now has District 6, created by dividing District 14.  The new District Administrator is Bob Loncar.  District 6 will become the fourth district in Section 4.

Welcome new District 4 Administrator

Anita Connelly is the District Administrator for District 4.  We welcome Anita into the Pennsylvania Association of District Administrators.

New format for 9 & 10 and 10 & 11 Year Old State Tournaments

There will be a change in the format for the 9 & 10 Year Old and 10 & 11 Year Old Baseball and Softball State Tournaments for 2008.  There will still be an East and a West pool play qualifier tournament.  However, instead of playing a championship game to crown an Eastern Pennsylvania and a Western Pennsylvania Division Champion as in 2007, the top two teams from the three days of pool play will advance to the state championships and play a double elimination tournament with the winner being the Pennsylvania State Champion.
